The Keramos DuraLite Series ceramic grinding media product range provides the best performance, and highest wear resistance solution to the lower density, lower cost ceramic grinding media requirement.

Keramos sources the worlds highest grade alumina powders, and applies protected unique production techniques to provide the most exceptional wear performance for these lower value products. Combining exceptional wear performance and reduced costs provides Keramos customers with the best solution to cost efficiency with respect to lower density ceramic grinding media.

A low cost, high performance alumina media, providing exceptional wear resistnace for the low density requirement, ideally suited for use in METSO SMD Mills.

Increased performance, middle density alumina, providing high wear resistance in METSO SMD Mills, and reduced operating costs in High Intensity Mills.

Exceptional performance high alumina media, ideally suited as a lower cost alternative for High Intensity Mills such as the Glecore IsaMill, or the Outotec HIGMill.

The DuraLite Series represents three products in the low alumina to middle alumina range covering the densities 2.8 – 3.2 SG.

The following three products are included in the DuraLite Series:

  • MetPro AH280 – Low Alumina 2.8 SG
  • X-Star AX280 – X-Star Stabilised Low Alumina 2.8 SG
  • MetPro AH320 – Middle Alumina 3.2 SG

The DuraLite Series products are designed to provide the best possible performance for both low intensity milling systems such as Metso SMD technologies, and for a lower cost / high performance option for some high intensity milling systems. In general the lower density products AH280, AX280, and AH320 offer the best high performance solutions for SMD type systems, and the higher density ceramic media products for higher intensity technologies such as the IsaMill and HIG Mill.
